Meet the 2026 Coaches
Coach Cole……..
I’m Cole! This will be my 4th year coaching and my 12th year swimming as a Piranha. I am a multi-sport athlete, including Varsity Track and Varsity Swim & Dive.
What I love most about coaching is having fun with all of the kids and putting smiles on their faces. I’m especially excited about being Head Coach this year! My goal for the season is to make sure every swimmer improves, but most importantly has fun at every practice and every meet.
A fun fact about me is that I love to fish and will always make time for it in my schedule. My favorite candy is Reese’s Cups — especially Reese’s Eggs when they’re in season!
My message to the team: It’s going to be an amazing season filled with lots of fun and competition!
Coach Chase……..
I’m Chase! This will be my 3rd year coaching and my 6th year as a Piranha. I love working with the kids and watching them improve every day. I’m excited to meet all of the new Piranhas and make more memories with our returning swimmers! My goal for this summer is for everyone to improve their swimming skills and be even faster than last year.
A fun fact about me is that I play varsity basketball at Lambert High School, and I’ve been swimming since I was 5 years old. I also love chocolate and Propel!
My message to the team: Always remember to have fun! Swim team should be something you enjoy and look forward to — not a chore.
Coach Eric……..
I’m Eric! I’m a senior this year, and this will be my 3rd year coaching and my 15th year as a Piranha. I am just finished four years of Lambert Varsity Swim & Dive. What I enjoy most about coaching is helping kids improve their skills while having fun together as a team. I’m especially excited for this season because it’s my final year swimming, and I want to make it a memorable one!
A fun fact about me is that I think I’ve been on the team longer than any of the other coaches!!!! My favorite candy is Skittles.
My message to the team: No matter how you do, I am always proud of you and the hard work you put into swim.
Coach Jake……..
I’m Jake! I’m in 10th grade, and this will be my 3rd year coaching and my 11th year as a Piranha. What I enjoy most about coaching is helping kids improve their swimming while having fun with their fellow Piranhas. I’m most excited to meet all of the new Piranhas this season and see all of our returning swimmers again! My goal for the season is simple — have fun!
A fun fact about me is that I love to golf. My favorite snack is Purple Doritos.
My message to the team: Let’s have an amazing summer!
Coach Merrily……..
I’m Merrily! I’m a freshman at Lambert High School, and this will be my 3rd year coaching and my 7th year as a Piranha. I enjoy coaching summer swim because I love working with the kids and watching all of their hard work pay off by the end of the season. I’m most excited to grow closer with the swimmers and help create a great team atmosphere this summer! My goal for the season is to help every swimmer improve at least one stroke or skill by the end of the year.
A fun fact about me is that I did competitive year round swim for 8 years before I started playing volleyball. My favorite food is steak!

Coach McKenna……..
I’m McKenna. I'm a rising freshman at Lambert High School, and I’ve been part of the Laurel Springs Piranhas for 5 years! Outside of swim, I play flag football and basketball for the Longhorns. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with friends, and baking.
I’m excited for another fun season with the Piranhas and can’t wait to make great memories this summer!
Coach Adrian……..
I’m Adrian! I’m in 9th grade, and this will be my 2nd year coaching and my 5th year as a Piranha. I am a year round swimmer at Swim Atlanta and just finished my 3rd year on the Lambert Lil'Horns, the Lambert High School feeder team.
What I enjoy most about coaching is teaching kids how to swim and helping them improve in the water. I’m especially excited to be a full-time coach this season! My goals for the summer are to help swimmers cut their times and continue getting faster throughout the season.
A fun fact about me is that math is my favorite subject. My favorite snack is gummy snacks!
